Cardboard stool Challenge
In this challenge we had to create a stool that was made out of cardboard. The materials we were given were five sheets of cardboard, silver duck tape, and clear duck tape. The tools we used were an exact o knife and a ruler, We had a five day deadline. When we finished we spray painted it maroon and black. I then painted a "S" on the top that stands for our school mascot "The Spartans". Then, we decided to make a vinyl stick using "VT" for Virginia Tech. Lastly, we made a presentation to present to the class, teacher, and principles.
The Design Process
These are pictures to show the design process. We first researched and sketched the design. We found that a triangular structure would hold weight nicely. After we traced the sketches unto the cardboard then cut it out. We found that the silver tape held great so we taped with it. We then put in triangular supports in the middle. We put the top on it and then took it outside to be painted. After we were done and ready to start on the presentation.

Our Sketches
We have a few sketches. They show a side and top view. They are simple and not very complex. There are also picture of a log to track the progress and a sheet that tells people what they had to do

Teamwork
We had to use a lot of team work. Everybody had their specialties and were involved. Tyler cut the cardboard, Brayden taped, Jake photographed, and we all painted.
